H.E. U Tin Maung Swe, Ambassador of Myanmar to China, and spouse Daw Mi Mi Maw, along with embassy staff, donated a set of the Sixth Buddhist Council Edition of the Tipitaka scriptures in Myanmar and Roman scripts which was contributed by the Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Pro tem President Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, and his spouse Daw Kyu Kyu Hla and their family, to Venerable Chang Zheng, Abbot of Linguang Temple and Vice President of the Buddhist Association of China on 18 August 2025 at the Linguang Temple in Beijing. Also, Ambassador and spouse, and the Myanmar Embassy staff offered donations of fruits and alms to the Venerable and paid homage to the Sacred Buddha Tooth Relic.
