Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Arab Republic of Egypt, H.E. U Kyaw Tin Shein and his spouse, along with the staff of the Myanmar Embassy attended the 58th ASEAN Day Flag Raising Ceremony held at 09:00 hrs on 20 August 2025 at the residence of the Indonesian Ambassador in Garden City, Cairo. The Ceremony featured the ASEAN Flag raising, opening remarks by the Indonesian Ambassador as a host and a speech by the H.E. U Kyaw Tin Shein in his role as Chairman of the ASEAN Committee in Cairo. After the ceremony, participants enjoyed traditional dishes prepared by the respective ASEAN embassies in Cairo.
