Permanent Representative of Myanmar to ASEAN attended the ASEAN Related Meetings

H.E. U Aung Myo Myint, Permanent Representative of Myanmar to ASEAN, attended the Seventh ASEAN-Türkiye Joint Sectoral Cooperation Committee (AT-JSCC) Meeting, Fifth ASEAN-Italy Development Partnership Committee (AI-DPC) Meeting, the Fifth ASEAN-France Development Partnership Committee (AF-DPC) Meeting and the Ninth ASEAN-Germany Development Partnership Committee (AG-DPC) Meeting held at the ASEAN Secretariat.

During the Seventh ASEAN-Türkiye Joint Sectoral Cooperation Committee (AT-JSCC) Meeting held on 24 November 2025, ASEAN and Türkiye exchanged views on the future direction of the Sectoral Dialogue Partnership and explored opportunities to broaden cooperation in areas such as cybersecurity, digital integration, green economy, public health, supply chain resilience, smart agriculture, disaster management, and women’s empowerment.

At the Fifth ASEAN-Italy Development Partnership Committee (AI-DPC) Meeting held on 26 November 2025, ASEAN and Italy reviewed the implementation of the ASEAN-Italy Development Partnership: Practical Cooperation Areas (2022-2026) and discussed the continued cooperation in the areas of sustainable development, climate change, food and energy security, digital economy and disaster management. 

Moreover, the Fifth ASEAN-France Development Partnership Committee (AF-DPC) Meeting held on 27 November 2025 encouraged to advance the implementation of ASEAN-France Development Partnership: Practical Cooperation Areas 2022-2026 while highlighting to focus cooperation on transnational crime, cyber security, maritime security and to support implementation of ASEAN Power Grid, Digital Economy Framework Agreement and to build a disaster resilient sustainable community. 

 Likewise, at the Ninth ASEAN-Germany Development Partnership Committee (AG-DPC) Meeting held on 28 November 2025, both sides reviewed the implementation of ASEAN-Germany Development Partnership: Practical Cooperation Areas 2023-2027 and explored ways to deepen cooperation in the areas of mutual benefit, such as MSMEs, circular economy, connectivity, cultural and people-to-people exchange.
