H.E. U Thant Sin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Mr. Prakash Adhikari, Joint Secretary of Southeast Asia and the Pacific Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal on 28 November 2025 at 11:30 hr.
During the discussion, Ambassador briefed on the current developments in Myanmar and the preparation process of the upcoming General Elections in Myanmar. Both sides shared views on the existing bilateral relations between the two countries including tourism promotion and the prospect of re-establishing direct flight between Myanmar and Nepal.
