Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar hosted the 327th Meeting of ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) at the Sakura Hall of the Embassy on 27 November 2025. The Meeting was chaired by H.E. U Kyaw Tun, Charge’ d’Affaires/ Ambassador of the Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo, who is the current Chair of the ACT. The meeting was attended by ASEAN Ambassadors, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. and ACT officials of the ASEAN Embassies.
During the meeting, ASEAN Ambassadors had a friendly and candid discussions on the Japan’s domestic development and regional development, and the upcoming activities that will be organized by the ACT.
The meeting was followed by the Dinner Talk between ASEAN Ambassadors and H.E. Mr. Kunihiko Hirabayashi, Secretary-General of the ASEAN-Japan Centre. During the discussion, H.E. Mr. Kunihiko Hirabayashi shared the development of ASEAN-Japan relations and cooperation, and the role of ASEAN-Japan Centre in enhancing ASEAN-Japan relations.
