Ms. Khaing Su Linn, Consul-General of the Consulate-General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Nanning attended The 2026 Spring Tea Gathering Program organized by Guangxi Commerce Department on 24-1-2026 in Nanning.
At the gathering program, Mr. Yang Chunting, Director- General of the Guangxi Commerce Department briefed on trade and economic cooperation between Guangxi and ASEAN Countries. While Consuls-General of ASEAN Consulates-General gave remarks respectively, Myanmar Consul-General expressed its gratitude to Guangxi Commerce Department for providing kind support to Myanmar Consulate-General. She mentioned that the Myanmar –Guangxi bilateral trade reached remarkable milestone in the first 11 months of 2025 and increased 64% year by year. She highlighted that the successful organization of the 2026 Guangxi New Silk Road New Year’s Cross-border E-commerce Festival has paved the way for ASEAN products to enter the Chinese market. She proposed further collaboration in promoting Cross-border E-commerce, facilitating trade and investment, digital economy, AI applications, Myanmar-Guangxi supply chain connectivity, as well as within the framework of the 15th Five Year Plan, focusing on trade and investment, green development, agriculture, and capacity building.
