At the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Mohammad Ishaq Dar, a Myanmar delegation led by U Than Swe, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs, departed for Islamabad on the morning of 24 January 2026 on an official visit.
During the official visit, the Union Minister is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his Pakistani counterpart, as well as meetings with other high-ranking officials. The discussions will focus on enhancing bilateral relations and promoting multi-sectoral cooperation between Myanmar and Pakistan.
