At the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, a delegation of 30 junior diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar, led by Director Dr. Zaw Linn Maung and two officials, departed from Yangon International Airport on January 25, 2026, to attend the 3rd Diplomatic Workshop from 25 to 30 January in Bangkok, organized by the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.
It is learned that the workshop aims to equip junior diplomats with fundamental diplomatic skills and a comprehensive understanding of Thailand’s political landscape, foreign policy, development sectors, and consular services, while strengthening the bonds of friendship and bilateral cooperation between the diplomats of Myanmar and Thailand.
