Myanmar Ambassador to the Republic of Korea attends Global Elim Foundation (GEF) Scholarship Award Ceremony (21-8-2025)

Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Republic of Korea H.E. U Thant Sin attended the Global Elim Foundation (GEF) Scholarship Award Ceremony for the 2025 Fall Semester, held in Seoul on 21 August 2025. The ceremony was also graced by the presence of ambassadors from other countries whose students were among the scholarship recipients. Following the opening remarks delivered by Dr. Lee Yong-hoon, President of Global Elim Foundation (GEF), Myanmar Ambassador expressed his deep gratitude to the Global Elim Foundation for awarding scholarships to 39 outstanding students from 19 foreign countries, including 3 students from Myanmar currently pursuing their studies in the Republic of Korea. He also conveyed his great pride toward the Myanmar students who were honored at the ceremony and encouraged all the scholarship recipients to pursue ambitious goals and to contribute meaningfully to their communities and serve their nations with dedication in the future. Subsequently, Dr. Lee Yong-hoon, President of Global Elim Foundation (GEF), formally presented the scholarships to the 39 international students. Then, the Myanmar Ambassador joined ‌a commemorative photo session with the GEF President, attending ambassadors, diplomats, and the scholarship awardees. Thereafter, Myanmar Ambassador also attended a luncheon hosted by the Global Elim Foundation together with the other ambassadors, and the scholarship recipients.
