The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand organized the ASEAN flag hoisting ceremony and the “ASEAN Family Run” 2.5 km walk-run at Lumpini Park in Bangkok on 8-8-2025 to commemorate the 58th Anniversary of the establishment of ASEAN. Myanmar Ambassador U Zaw Zaw Soe and embassy officers, along with Ambassadors and Diplomats from the ASEAN Embassies and ASEAN’s Dialogue Partners' Embassies in Bangkok, participated in the event. On the occasion, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and H.E. Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, delivered the Opening Remarks. Afterwards, the Flag hoisting Ceremony, the commemorative photo session with the Ambassadors and the 2.5-kilometer walk-run were held on the occasion.
