Consul-General of the Consulate-General of Myanmar in Chongqing, U Kyaw Zay Yar Lin, paid a courtesy call on Ms. Ren Haiyan, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Yuzhong District, and respective officials from Economic Commission of Yuzhong District, Chongqing on 8 May 2026 at the Yuzhong District Foreign Affairs Office in Chongqing.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to further enhance economic, trade, cultural and tourism cooperation between Yuzhong District of Chongqing and Myanmar, promote practical collaboration, and facilitate a business matching event between the delegation from the Naypyitaw Chambers of Commerce and Industry (NCCI), which will attend the Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT), and business representatives from Chongqing.
