U Thwin Htet Lin, Consul-General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Kunming, met with Mr. Yang Shaocheng, Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Yunnan Province of the People’s Republic of China, on the morning of 8 May 2026 at the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Yunnan Province in Kunming.
During the cordial discussions, both sides exchanged views on further strengthening the longstanding friendly relations between Myanmar and China, deepening trade and economic cooperation between Myanmar and Yunnan Province of China, and enhancing cultural exchanges and people-to-people connectivity between the two countries.
