The 58th ASEAN Day celebration was held on a grand scale at the Cyber Event Hall in Cyberjaya at 10:30 a.m. on 8 August 2025 and the event was graced by the presence of Heads of Missions and Ambassadors from ASEAN countries based in Kuala Lumpur, as well as representatives from other foreign embassies. H.E. the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, delivered his opening remarks at the event, and so did H.E. the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Hasan. After the event, the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister visited the country booths set up by the ASEAN Member States. They interacted with the representatives at each booth and offered words of encouragement and support.
