The Consulate General of the Philippines, the Chair of ASEAN Women Circle of Los Angeles, organized a welcoming ceremony for Mrs. Win Lei Phyu, Consul General of Myanmar, at Max’s Restaurant in Glendale, California on 7 August 2025. At the ceremony, Consul General Mrs. Win Lei Phyu expressed the sincere appreciation for warmly welcome by AWCLA and reaffirmed the commitment to preserve the existing friendship and tradition of AWCLA. She also reiterated to participate in AWCLA’s upcoming activities. It was attended by Mr. Adelio Aggelito S. Cruz, Consul General of the Philippines, and Spouse Mrs. Catherine Amon Cruz, Mr. Purnomo Ahmad Chandra, Consul General of Indonesia, and Spouse Mrs. Runi Purnomo, Mrs. Sirigamon Saralamba, Spouse of the Consul General of Thailand, and other AWCLA members.
