Daw Win Lei Phyu, Consul General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Los Angeles, participated in an observation boat tour of the Los Angeles Consular Corps Spouses Association (LACCSA) on 17 September 2026 at the Port of Los Angeles Administration Building, organized by the Port of Los Angeles. At the event, Ms. Marisela Caraballo DiRuggiero, Director of Trade Development, Port of Los Angeles, delivered welcome remarks and provided a brief overview of the Port of Los Angeles, followed by an official tour of the port.
During the visit, the Consul General observed the port’s modern cargo-handling capabilities, container shipping operations and its vital role in driving global supply chains and international commerce. The tour was attended by Consuls General, members of LACCSA, officials from the Port of Los Angeles, representatives from Impact Global Advisors, and civil society organizations.
