H.E. U Aung Myo Myint, Permanent Representative of Myanmar to ASEAN, attended the Commemoration of the 26th Anniversary of Cambodia’s Membership in ASEAN and Policy Speech by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, which was held at the ASEAN Secretariat on 5 May 2025. In advance of Policy Speech, H.E. Hun Sen had an interface meeting with Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Deputy Secretaries-General of ASEAN, Permanent Representatives to ASEAN and Ambassador of Timor-Leste to ASEAN. The Meeting focused on ASEAN’s endeavours with regard to the ASEAN Community-building and regional integration. At the Policy Speech, H.E. Hun Sen shared his valuable experience during his previous tenure as a member of the Government of Kingdom of Cambodia as well as highlighted ASEAN’s support and contribution to the development of Cambodia throughout its 26 years of membership. Following the ceremony, H.E. U Aung Myo Myint attended a dinner reception to commemorate the 26th Anniversary of Cambodia’s membership in ASEAN hosted by H.E. Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Deputy Secretaries-General of ASEAN Community Pillars, Permanent Representatives to ASEAN, Ambassador of Timor Leste to ASEAN and Ambassadors of ASEAN’s Dialogue Partners were present at the above-mentioned events.
