H.E. U Aung Myo Myint, Permanent Representative of Myanmar to ASEAN, attended the 14th ASEAN-New Zealand Joint Cooperation Committee Meeting and the 3rd ASEAN-Peru Development Partnership Committee Meeting held at the ASEAN Secretariat.
During the 14th ASEAN-New Zealand Joint Cooperation Committee Meeting held on 24 April 2026, ASEAN and New Zealand noted the full implementation of the ASEAN-New Zealand Plan of Action (2021-2025) and welcomed the commencement of the Plan of Action to Implement the ASEAN-New Zealand Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (2026-2030). They also exchanged views on the future direction of the partnership.
At the 3rd ASEAN-Peru Development Partnership Committee held on 29 April 2026, ASEAN and Peru reviewed the implementation of the Practical Cooperation Areas of the ASEAN-Peru Development Partnership (2025-2029). Furthermore, the meeting focused on advancing collaboration in key sectors of environment, science, technology and innovation, food and agriculture, climate change, disaster management and people-to-people exchange.
