The ASEAN Embassies based in Singapore jointly organized the ASEAN Gala Night at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel in Singapore on November 10, 2025, from 18:30 hours to 22:00 hours and Dr. Zaw Minn Aung, Charge’d’ Affaires a.i./ Minister of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Singapore, officials and their family members participated in the event.
The ceremony was attended by the H.E. Mr. Albert Chua, Permanent Secretary and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, Ambassadors and diplomats from the ASEAN Embassies and Dialogue Partners and other invited guests.
At the ASEAN Gala Night, the ASEAN Embassies presented the attending guests with their traditional songs, dances and hosted with traditional foods. The Myanmar Embassy presented a traditional Myanmar wedding costumes fashion show and a “Thingyan Moe” performance.
In addition, The Myanmar Embassy showcased Myanmar traditional cultural artefacts, jewellery, and accessories in a Myanmar exhibition booth and served traditional Myanmar foods, including Kyar Zan Kyaw (Stir fried Vermicelli), Burmese-style fried chicken, Mont Lin Ma Yar (Couple snacks) and Banana Semolina.
