In response to the devastating earthquake measuring 7.7 magnitude that stuck Myanmar, H.E. U Thant Sin, Myanmar Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, received a donation of 1 million Korea Won from Mr. Cheol-hong HUH, Honorary Consul of Myanmar in Incheon, Republic of Korea on 17 June 2025. The donation is intended to support the reconstruction project of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw, which was affected by the earthquake. In recognition of his generous contribution, Myanmar Ambassador presented Certificate of Appreciation to Mr. Huh and expressed his heartfelt gratitude for this generous support. The donated fund will be transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
