H.E. U Kyaw Soe Moe, Ambassador to Bangladesh attended the BIMSTEC Day Reception to celebrate the 28th Anniversary of the establishment of BIMSTEC which was held in Hotel Sheraton, Dhaka on 16 June 2025. The occasion was attended by H.E. Mr. Wahiduddin Mahmud, Hon’ble Adviser of the Ministry of Planning of Bangladesh as the Chief of Guest and Heads of Missions/Chargé d’Affaires a.i. from the member States of the BIMSTEC and the diplomats, totaling over 250 people. H.E. Mr. Wahiduddin Mahmud, Hon’ble Adviser and H.E. Indra Mani Pandey, BIMSTEC Secretary General delivered welcome remarks respectively in the ceremony. Afterwards, BIMSTEC Day Cake Cutting Ceremony and Photo session were carried on by Chief Guest, BIMSTEC Secretary General and Heads of Missions of BIMSTEC member States. Myanmar Embassy and Myanmar (Military, Naval and Air Attaché) Office together participated in the Event by showcasing the traditional Myanmar cultural handicrafts and Lacquerwares as well as actively presented the performance activities.
