H.E. U Zaw Oo, Myanmar Ambassador to the Republic of India, attended the celebration of the 78th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, held at 1830 hrs on 4 February 2026 at the High Commission of Sri Lanka, New Delhi, at the invitation of H.E. Ms. Mahishini Colonne, High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to India.
The reception was attended by H.E. Mr. Kirti Vardhan Singh, Minister of State of the Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change of India as the Chief Guest. Senior Officials of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Ambassadors, Chiefs of Missions, Diplomats, Military Attaches from various foreign embassies based in New Delhi and other invited guests were also present.
