Myanmar Ambassador to Nicaragua H.E. U Htun Aung Kyaw attended the Congress on Climate Justice themed From Science to Action organized by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (MARENA) of the Republic of Nicaragua on 19-10-2026.
During the event, H.E. Mr. Javier Gutirrez, Minister of Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, H.E. Ms. Darling Hernndez, Minister of Youth and H.E. Mr. Jeovani lvarez, Minister of Agriculture stressed the importance of climate justice, differing responsibilities of different states, international cooperation and climate financing, role of youth in climate conservation, climate change and promotion of climate friendly agriculture and practical utilization of scientific knowledge in tackling climate change.
Present on the occasion were government officials of Nicaragua, diplomatic corps and International Organizations based in Nicaragua, cooperation agencies, university students and youths.
