Myanmar Ambassador to China delivers a speech at the Opening Ceremony of 2025 One Town One Product International Cooperation Forum

H.E. U Tin Maung Swe, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the People’s Republic of China delivered a speech at the Opening Ceremony of 2025 One Town One Product International Cooperation Forum which was held at Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, Henan Province on 26-11-2025. The Forum was held under the theme of “One Belt, One Road, One World. One Town One Product, One Dream” with the aim to support rural revitalization, strengthen county-level economies and improve domestic market circulation. 

In his address, H.E. U Tin Maung Swe emphasized that the Forum can present the new opportunities to foster industrial collaboration, and promote enterprise exchanges that can contribute to the benefit of the peoples. He also highlighted that China is not only a close neighbour to Myanmar but also an important partner for the economic development of the country. 

Ambassador also expressed the importance of the Forum as a platform to connect enterprises, explore investment opportunities and for broader cooperation opportunities of the Belt and Road Initiative. He then agreed that “One town One product” strategy can create job opportunities, inclusive growth, and support small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

He then warmly welcomed the investors and businessmen from China to invest and cooperate in Myanmar in the fields of agriculture, manufacturing and e-commerce platforms for win-win cooperation.

The Forum was attended by the President of the China Council for the Promotion of National Trade (CCPNT), Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Executive Director of the Management Committee of the SCO Demonstration Area, Member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council and Vice Chairperson of the Hong Kong New People’s Party, Foreign Ambassadors and Consul Generals to China and manufacturers, economists, industry experts, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders.

The 2025 One Town One Product International Commodities Fair also officially opened with approximately 300 exhibition stalls. Myanmar Ambassador to China and Distinguished Guests conducted an official tour of the venue, inspecting the diverse range of products on display.
