The Myanmar Embassy and Permanent Mission in Vienna participated in the International Festival–Charity Bazaar organized by the United Nations Women’s Guild Vienna (UNWG), held at the Austria Center Vienna on 29 November 2025. The event was opened in the evening of 28 November 2025.
Together with other diplomatic missions and organizations based in Vienna, the Myanmar Embassy and Permanent Mission showcased and sold traditional Myanmar textiles and handicrafts at the bazaar to raise funds for women and children in need around the world. The Embassy and Permanent Mission also took part in the Costumes of the World parade and performed a traditional Myanmar dance.
The UNWG is dedicated to raising funds to support vulnerable women and children worldwide through the provision of assistance programmes, educational opportunities and essential services. Through partnerships with Austrian and international organizations, the UNWG supports charitable efforts both locally and globally.
