H.E. U Min Thein, Ambassador-designate of Myanmar, together with Ambassadors and Chargés d’Affaires of other ASEAN Member States’ embassies in Kuwait, attended 59th ASEAN Day Commemorative event at the Embassy of Malaysia in Kuwait on 9 August 2026 at 1130 hrs organized by the ASEAN Committee in Kuwait (ACK). The event took place under the auspice of the current Chair of the ACK, Ambassador of Brunei to Kuwait H.E. Mr. Sulaini Said, in collaboration with the Embassy of Malaysia.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of H.E. Mr. Nawaf Abdulatif Sulaiman Al-Ahmed, Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs of the State of Kuwait as guest of honour. Present also at the event were senior officials of the Asia Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, diplomats and family members of ASEAN embassies in Kuwait, as well as representatives from local media.
