H.E. U Kyaw Soe Moe, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the People's Republic of Bangladesh, attended the reception marking the 11th Anniversary of the Establishment of the BIMSTEC Secretariat, held at Hotel Sheraton, Dhaka, on 15 September 2025.
The event was graced by H.E. Mr. Asad Alam Siam, Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh, as Chief Guest, and attended by Heads of Mission/Chargés d’Affaires a.i. of BIMSTEC member states, and other diplomats, totaling around 150 participants.
H.E. Mr. Asad Alam Siam, Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh, and H.E. Indra Mani Pandey, Secretary-General of BIMSTEC, delivered welcome remarks. The Chief Guest, the Secretary-General, and the Heads of Mission of BIMSTEC member states then joined a cake-cutting ceremony and photo session.
