Myanmar delegation led by Ambassador U Min Thein, Myanmar Permanent Representative to the United Nations and other international organizations in Vienna, attended the opening ceremony of the 69th regular session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), held on 15 September 2025 in Vienna, Austria.
The Permanent Representative of Myanmar participated in the IAEA Board of Governors (BoG) meeting held from 8 to 11 September 2025 and reaffirmed Myanmar’s unwavering commitment to the peaceful use of nuclear energy, technology, and applications, the principles of nuclear non-proliferation and the shared objective of general and complete nuclear disarmament.
