His Excellency U Soe Thet Naung, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Negara Brunei Darussalam, paid separate courtesy calls on His Excellency Yip Wei Kiat, High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore, His Excellency Datuk Mohd Aini Atan, High Commissioner of Malaysia, His Excellency Abel Guterress, Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, and His Excellency Heuankeo Sangsomsak, Ambassador of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Brunei Darussalam, from 8 to 16 September 2026.
During the meetings, they cordially exchanged views on matters concerning cooperation among ASEAN diplomatic missions in Bandar Seri Begawan, as well as the existing bilateral relations.
