H.E. Mr. Kyaw Soe Moe, Myanmar Ambassador to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh attended the meetings with the delegation led by Md Amirul Haque, Chairman of the the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) in headquarters of CCCI, World Trade Center, Chittagong; the working lunch hosted by the Chittagong Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CWCCI) at Hotel Agrabad; the delegation led by Mr. Khalilur Rahman, President of the Chittagong Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CMCCI), at the CMCCI’s headquarters; and the delegation from the Khatunganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Hotel Agrabad, during the Chittagong visit from 23 to 25 September 2026, respectively.
During the meetings, the two sides engaged frankly discussions on enhancing cooperation between public and private sectors, particularly regarding the establishment of direct shipping and air routes, and cooperation in the tourism, trade, banking, energy and MSME sectors. Moreover, both sides discussed on facilitating online meetings between business entities and mutually inviting each other to trade fairs and forums.
