A discussion on the theme of “Myanmar’s Business Environment and Investment Opportunities” was held between the Consulate-General of Myanmar in Kunming and the Kunming Young Entrepreneurs Association at the meeting room of Yunnan Lingyun Law Office in Kunming on 24 September 2026.
The discussion aimed to further strengthen economic and business cooperation and exchanges between Myanmar and Yunnan Province, establish a communication channel between the Kunming Young Entrepreneurs Association and the Myanmar business community, facilitate business matching activities and exchanges of relevant information and innovation-related technological resources, and promote practical cooperation in projects and industrial investment.
During the discussion, an overview of the current investment opportunities, business environment and development situation in Myanmar was presented, together with an introduction to the activities and development of the Kunming Young Entrepreneurs Association.
The participants subsequently exchanged views on investment and trade opportunities in Myanmar, as well as potential areas for future cooperation. They also actively shared views and raised questions on matters of mutual interest, which were addressed and discussed during the meeting.
