U Than Htwe Chargé d’affaires/ Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Republic of Serbia, met with Professor Dr. Janko Samardžić MD, Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia, at 10:00 hrs on 28 July 2026 at the Ministry of Education in Belgrade.
During the meeting, the two sides cordially exchanged views on further strengthening the existing friendly relations between Myanmar and Serbia, opportunities for Myanmar students to pursue higher education in Serbia under scholarship programmes, cooperation between Universities, collaboration in the field of Medical Education and Academic Research. Ambassador also briefed him on the Government’s ongoing efforts to political development in Myanmar.
