The Kathina robe-offering ceremony was held under the guidance of Venerable Bhadanta Tikkhanana (Abbot of Santisukha Monastery), Venerable Hitadara Sayardaw Bhadanta Vimalabhivamsa, Venerable Bhadanta Hteindralinkara on 1 November 2025 at Santisukha Monsastery in Thanh Hoa Province, Viet Nam, and Chargé d'Affaires / Ambassador of Myanmar to Viet Nam H.E. U Wai Linn and spouse, Myanmar Defnese Attaché (Army, Navy, Air), Brig. General Myint Htun Naing and spouse, and officials from the Myanmar Embassy and the Office of the Defense Attaché in Hanoi participated in the ceremony.
During the ceremony, Chargé d'Affaires / Ambassador of Myanmar H.E. U Wai Linn and spouse donated a set of the Sixth Buddhist Council Edition of the Tipitaka Scriptures (Pali Canon) in Myanmar and Roman scripts which was originally donated by the Acting President, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and spouse Daw Kyu Kyu Hla to Venerable Bhadanta Tikkhanana (Abbot of Santisukha Monastery). In addition, members of the Myanmar Embassy and the Office of the Defense Attaché donated Kathina robes, offertories, sundry needs and stationery to the monks, novices and nuns residing at the monastery.
