Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia and special envoy of ASEAN Chair left Yangon in the morning of 23 March 2022. He was seen off at the Yangon International Airport by U Kyaw Myo Htut, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Before his departure, in the morning of 22 March 2022, special envoy, in his separate programs, met with Representatives from the UN Specialized Agencies in Yangon and Chairman of People’s Party. In the afternoon, he visited the Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRCS) warehouse where humanitarian assistances such as medical equipment and supplies are being kept. In the evening, he had dinner with Ambassadors and chargé d’affaires from ASEAN Member States.
