H.E. Aung Myo Myint, the Permanent Representative of Myanmar to ASEAN, attended the 13th Meeting of the ASEAN-ROK Joint Cooperation Committee held on 11 March 2026, the 27th Meeting of the ASEAN-China Joint Cooperation Committee held on 30 March 2026 and the 7th Meeting of the ASEAN-Chile Development Partnership Committee held on 31 March 2026 at the ASEAN Secretariat.
The 13th Meeting of the ASEAN-ROK Joint Cooperation Committee discussed the various areas of cooperation in the implementation of the ASEAN-ROK Plan of Action (2021-2025) as well as the close cooperation between ASEAN and ROK to effectively implement the new Plan of Action (2026-2030) with a view to further supporting the ASEAN Community Vision 2045 and strengthening the ASEAN-ROK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP).
Likewise, the 27th Meeting of the ASEAN-China Joint Cooperation Committee discussed the successful completion of the ASEAN-China Plan of Action (2021-2025), the ongoing implementation of the ASEAN-China Plan of Action (2026-2030) as well as the plans for activities and initiatives to commemorate the ASEAN-China Year of the Fifth Anniversary of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP).
Moreover, the 7th Meeting of the ASEAN-Chile Development Partnership Committee reviewed the implementation of the ASEAN-Chile practical cooperation areas and discussed to promote cooperation in the areas of mutual interest including trade and investment, digital economy, agriculutre, food and energy security, sustainable development and disaster management.
