Ambassadors-level meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Kuwait (ACK) was held on 14 May 2026 at the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in Kuwait. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Sulaini Said, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the State of Kuwait who is the current rotating Chair of ACK. Myanmar Ambassador U Chan Aye participated in the meeting alongside ambassadors and heads of missions from other ASEAN embassies in Kuwait.
During the meeting, ASEAN ambassadors and heads of missions discussed ACK’s plans and initiatives aimed at further strengthening ASEAN’s activities and visibilities in the State of Kuwait. During the meeting, Ambassador U Chan Aye briefed about the recent political developments and the initiatives of the newly elected government to be carried forward, including the 100 day program.
