The Chargé d' Affaires/ Minister U Han Thein Kyaw participated in the Opening Gala of “ITB Berlin 2026 (the world’s leading travel trade show)” held on 2 March 2026 at the Messe Berlin. The ITB Berlin took place over three days from 3 to 5 March 2026 in Berlin. At the Opening Gala, speeches were delivered by high-ranking dignitaries from Germany and Angola, this year’s official Host Country. Over 160 countries were represented at the event.
Likewise, the Chargé d’ Affaires attended the “Berlin Economic Forum 2026” on 5 March 2026, where he delivered a Keynote Address titled “Myanmar-Germany Relations: Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation and Expanding Regional Partnership within the Framework of ASEAN-EU Partnership”. The Key speakers at the Berlin Economic Forum 2026 included ministerial-level visiting dignitaries and Ambassadors to Germany representing nations across Asia, Africa and Latin America.
