U Aung Kyaw Zan, Ambassador / Chargé d’Affaires, staff members, and families of the Myanmar Embassy and Permanent Mission in Vienna joined the ASEAN Family Day celebration organized on 18 October 2026 at the Danube Park (Donaupark) in Vienna, hosted by the Embassy of Malaysia, in commemoration of the 59th ASEAN Day.
The event was opened with welcoming remarks delivered by H.E. Mrs. Dato’ Fenny Nuli, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Malaysia, the current Chair of the ASEAN-Vienna Committee, and Ms. Luise Däger-Gregori, Member of the Vienna City Council and Member of the Vienna Provincial Parliament.
During the celebration, Ambassadors, heads of missions, diplomats, and their family members enjoyed music and cultural performances, participated in friendly sports competitions, and tasted traditional ASEAN foods. The Myanmar Embassy and Permanent Mission also served Myanmar traditional cuisine and won first, second, and third prizes in the inter-country sports competitions.
