Following the devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar on March 28, 2025, to aid earthquake victims, Myanmar Consul-General in Nanning received the medical supplies worth of Yuan (213,198) donated by The first Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University at the Hospital on 22.4.2025 and Consul-General presented the Letters of Appreciations. On 24-4-2025, with the coordination of the Myanmar Consulate-General, a total weight of 4.9 tons including the medical supplies donated by The first Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University, Shandong Puze Health Industry Group Co., Ltd and Linyi Puze Huihai Health Technology Co., Ltd., medicines donated by Guangxi Liuyao Group Co., Ltd and Nanning Custom, and feminine hygiene products donated by Shanglin Yingfu Agricultural and Sideline Products Co., Ltd. were delivered to Myanmar via Cargo Flight No. UB8504 operating from Nanning to Yangon. Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, the donated items were handed over by officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to U Than Soe, Director of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement on 25-4-2025. The items will be promptly distributed to the affected peoples in the earthquake-stricken areas.
