Myanmar Consul General attends 10th Annual Silicon Slopes Summit

Daw Win Lei Phyu, Consul General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Los Angeles, attended 10th Annual Silicon Slopes Summit held from 4-6 February 2026 in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the invitation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The Summit was attended by more than 7,000 distinguished participants from around the world, including Consuls General, founders and CEOs of artificial intelligence technology companies, investment and market development firms, healthcare companies, as well as from the film industry. During the Summit, the speakers and panelists engaged in discussions on advancements in artificial intelligence, market strategies, leadership qualities, and shared professional experiences.

During the Summit, the Consul General also participated in an informal breakfast meeting with Mr. Ryan Westwood, Chairman and CEO of Fullcast and CEO of the Year by Utah Business, held at the World Trade Center, a tour to Welfare Square, a warehouse and processing facility providing humanitarian assistance to those in need, and a meeting between Congressman Mike Kennedy of Utah and members of the Consular Corps.
