Chargé d’Affaires/Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the United States, along with ASEAN Ambassadors, Heads of Mission and representatives from other ASEAN Embassies attended the working luncheon hosted by H.E. Mr. Koy Kuong, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the United States, to H.E. Mr. Elbridge A. Colby, Under Secretary of War for Policy of the United States, in Washington D.C. on 8 June 2026.
During the working luncheon, members of the ASEAN Committee in Washington exchanged views with the Under Secretary of War, on recent developments in the ASEAN–U.S. Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, ongoing areas of cooperation, and the priorities outlined in the 2026 National Defense Strategy, and other collaborative efforts of the Department in the region.
