The Chargé d’Affaires/Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the United States, accompanied by the Myanmar Defense, Military, Naval, Air Attaché, attended a reception celebrating the Day of Russia on 11 June 2026 at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Washington, D.C., at the invitation of H.E. Mr. Alexander Darchiev, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the United States.
The reception was attended by Ambassadors, Chiefs of Mission, Diplomats, and Military Attachés from various foreign embassies in Washington, as well as officials from the White House and the U.S. Department of State, Russian compatriots, American experts, and other invited guests.
