“Nicaragua Exporta 2026” Forum

Myanmar Ambassador to Nicaragua H.E. U Htun Aung Kyaw attended the Opening Ceremony of the second edition of the “Nicaragua Exporta 2026” Forum held on 15-10-2026 at Olof Palme Convention Center in Managua.
During the Ceremony, H.E. Mr. Laureano Ortega Murillo, Presidential Advisor for Promotion of Investment, Trade and International Cooperation and H.E. Mr. Erwin Ramirez Colindres, Minister of Development, Industry and Commerce(MIFIC) delivered the opening remarks. Afterwards, the Ambassador joined Nicaraguan officials and diplomatic corps residing in Nicaragua for a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially inaugurate the forum, and had a tour of the exhibition.
The forum will be held from 15 to 16 October. It is reported that a total of 346 participants including 52 Nicaraguan Companies, representatives from 34 countries and 16 international buyers will participate the forum. There will also be Business-matching meetings between 27 Nicaraguan Companies and 14 foreign companies.
