U Moe Kyaw Aung, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar received Mr. Kim Noguera Gabrielli, CEO of the Worldview International Foundation (WIF) at 1100 hrs on 16 July 2025 at the Myanmar Embassy, Oslo. During the meeting, both sides discussed on key environmental issues, including sustainable aquaculture, forest conservation, and enhancing climate resilience. The meeting also underscored the importance of local communities in environmental preservation, particularly in the restoration of mangrove ecosystems. Both sides emphasized the need to promote community participation through awareness-raising campaigns and capacity-building programs. Additionally, both parties exchanged views on strengthening the environmental cooperation between Myanmar and Norway, where Norway has been a major player in the global green sector.
