H.E. U Zaw Oo, Ambassador/ Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Italian Republic, received Mr. Andrea Ganelli, Honorary Consul-General of Myanmar in Turin, on 24 September 2026, and Mr. Andrea Vannini, Honorary Consul of Myanmar in Florence, on 25 September 2026 at the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on exploring opportunities to further deepen Myanmar–Italy bilateral relations in the regions, particularly through enhanced people-to-people contact, trade and investment, tourism, and other areas of mutual interest. The Ambassador of Myanmar also briefed on recent developments in Myanmar.
