H.E. U Zaw Oo, Ambassador/ Charg dAffaires a.i. of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Italian Republic, paid a courtesy call on His Excellency the Most Reverend Archbishop Edgar Pea Parra, Apostolic Nuncio to Italy, on 2 October 2026 at the Apostolic Nunciature in Rome.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on constructive engagement, dialogue, and closer cooperation within the diplomatic community in Italy. The Ambassador of Myanmar also briefed on recent developments in Myanmar.
