H.E. U Kyaw Soe Moe, Myanmar Ambassador to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Khandakar Abdul Muktadir, Hon’ble Minister for Commerce of Bangladesh at the Ministry of Commerce in Dhaka at 10:00 hrs. on 2nd August 2026.
During the meeting, both sides cordially exchanged views on the increasing trade in agricultural, fisheries products, rice, pharmaceuticals and so on, improving maritime connectivity, importing Liquefied natural gas(LNG) and repatriation of displaced persons. In addition, they discussed resuming the Meeting such as Joint Trade Commission Meeting and Foreign Office Consultations.
Also present at the meeting were the senior officials from the Ministry of Commerce and representative from Myanmar Wing, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh.
