The ASEAN Family Day 2026 was organized by the ASEAN-Brussels Committee (ABC) to commemorate the 59th Anniversary of ASEAN Day and was held on 22 August 2026 at Garrincha Padel Club, Machelen, Brussels. The event was attended by Ambassador/Chargé d’Affaires a.i., Dr. Khin Thidar Aye, together with diplomats and family members of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Brussels. Ambassadors, diplomats and family members from ASEAN Embassies, as well as invited representatives from the European Union, including the European External Action Service (EEAS), also attended the event.
During the ASEAN Family Day 2026, ASEAN Missions hosted a variety of traditional food and delicacies from their respective countries, with the Embassy of Myanmar showcasing and serving Myanmar traditional food. The Embassy also actively participated in the sports activities organized to promote friendship, solidarity and stronger people-to-people connectivity among the ASEAN families in Brussels.
