The Consulate General of Myanmar in Los Angeles attended Cultural Performance titled “Rhythms of ASEAN: Where Colors, Cultures and Hearts Align” organized by the Consulate General of Thailand, currently serving as President of AWCLA (2026-2027) on April 25, 2026, at 18:00 hrs at the Northwest Campus Auditorium, UCLA, Los Angeles.
At the event, Madam Sirigamon Saralamba, Spouse of the Consul General of Thailand and President of AWCLA (2026-2027), delivered the welcoming remarks, followed by traditional cultural performances by ASEAN Consulates in Los Angeles. The Myanmar Consulate General presented Myanmar traditional puppet show and Myanmar Dance. Subsequently, Madam Sirigamon Saralamba presented commemorative bouquets to the performers.
During the event, ASEAN Consulates in Los Angeles also featured cultural booths. The Myanmar Consulate General displayed traditional arts and crafts, including lacquerware, cotton textiles, Jade and Amber Jewelry. The event was attended by over 250 guests.
