The Closing Ceremony of the Course in Diplomacy (CID) Batch No. 9 for the newly recruited junior officers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was held at 10:00 a.m. on 6 November 2026 at the Lawkanatt Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw. At the ceremony, U Ko Ko Kyaw, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, delivered the closing remarks.
The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister U Naing Min Kyaw, Rector and Professor/Head of Department from Naypyitaw State Academy, the Director-General and other responsible officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and 29 trainees of the course.
The course was conducted in Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon for 11 weeks from 24 August 2026 to 6 November 2026. The course covered subjects including the functions and responsibilities of the departments under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as diplomacy, international relations, cooperation with regional and international organizations, ASEAN affairs, consular affairs, international law, and professional skills development.
