U Win Zeyar Tun, Chargé d’affaires/Minister of the Myanmar Embassy in London, visited the Tiptree Factory in Essex on 3 July 2026 together with Heads of Mission of the ASEAN-London Committee (ALC).
Mr. Christopher Newenham, Managing Director of Wilkin & Sons Limited, briefed the delegation on Tiptree’s history of jam making, its domestic and international distribution, business with ASEAN countries, and the company’s overall operations. The guest of honour, the Rt Hon Dame Priti Patel, Member of Parliament for the Witham constituency, also welcomed the ASEAN-London Committee. Factory managers then guided the delegation through the stages of production and led a tour to the fruit farms that supply the raw materials.
